One of my favorite times of the year is when the list of possible Heartland Award nominees is released. I received the list of possibles (27 on this year's list) in May and immediately started reading. Of course, some of the authors have been on previous lists but there are some new names.
The ones I've read so far include:

Paper Towns (John Green)
I will be making another trip to Borders to see what other books on the list they have added to their shelves.
